Charity concert „For Natálka“
We invite you to attend the charity concert „For Natálka“ to be held on September 18 at 7 p.m. at the „U Salvátora“ Church (Salvátorská 1, Praha 1). We wish to support, morally and materially, the family of Natálie Kudriková who was severely burnt on 80 percent of her body after an arsonists´attack last year, but mainly we want to express unequivocal disagreement with any form of violence motivated by hatred. You can buy a ticket for any amount you wish to donate – the collected funds will establish a new account for the injured girl: 1281004407/5500.
Czech Public Broadcasters are media partners of this concert for all people irrespective of faith or political persuasion, for people who wish to help and protest violent acts, such as the one that changed the destiny of a family at Vítkov on April 19, 2009. The Slovak band Živé kvety will perform the song At the Stake dedicated to Natálka.
More than a year after the attack the three-year-old girl is learning to walk an talk again, although her face, body and mind will remain damaged forever. In the difficult life ahead of her, she will need constant medical care, therapy and education. The new account and future donations should offer help.
The public and the media have followed the girl´s story with interest. It also appeared on the CNN channel and can be found on their website.
We hope you will join us and support Natálka by your contribution. On behalf of the organizers:
Fedor Gál, Martin Hanzlíček, Juanita Kansil, Milena Tučná
