The Kalderash sisters born in Tibro, Sweden, Rosa (1926) and Katarina (1932) Taikon travelled with their family, they were not allowed to attend school, so they finished their education via the adult Romani community. Rosa is a silversmith who makes art in the form of jewelry. Her first exhibition was in 1969. Katarina became famous for her writing, especially children's books. Katarina also published the journal Zienaren (the Gypsy), gave lectures and wrote articles on the situation of the Gypsies in Sweden.
