Miroslav Holomek
A founder of the Union of Roma - Gypsies, Miroslav Holomek was born in
Svatoborice near Kyjov, and followed the activities of his uncle Tomas. In
1969 he bacame the head of the Union of Roma - Gypsies and he spent his life
in the field of Romani studies, trying to improve the understanding between
the Romani minority and the majority population in the former
Czechoslovakia.
